Projects let you split your SEO Jungle activity into several distinct spaces: a personal project, or one or more projects tied to your business organization. A selector, accessible from the menu, lets you switch your current project at any time, or go back to "All my projects" mode.

Personal or business project

Attaching a project to your company rather than to yourself as an individual has a concrete effect: transactions are then carried out tax-free, and you can invite collaborators to join that project.

Per-member budget and duplicate exclusion

Every item in your cart must be attached to a project before the order can be confirmed: that's the moment the budget gets used. Within a project, each invited member can be assigned a dedicated budget, funded from your organization's credit. Purchasing a link debits that member's budget on that project, and a cancellation or refund credits it back. The history of these movements (purchases, refunds, budget transfers) remains viewable project by project, with the total budget and remaining budget shown for each member.

Another advantage of using a project: when it's selected, the marketplace excludes from your search results any sites where you've already purchased a link for that same project, to avoid piling up multiple backlinks to the same domain within a single campaign. A genuine safety net so you don't pass through the same clearing twice.

Editing, archiving, or deleting a project

A project can be edited, archived, or deleted from its management page. Archiving a project automatically refunds the remaining balance of all its members back to the organization; reactivating it doesn't restore those budgets, which then need to be reassigned manually.

To sort out roles before launching a project as a team, check out Your organization and its roles and Inviting a member to your organization.

As soon as you sign up, SEO Jungle automatically creates a personal organization for you: a space where you're the only member, with the Owner role. This is what's used by default for your orders if you work solo, with no setup needed.

Personal or shared organization

If you work as a team (agency, company, association), you can create a shared organization to pool credit, budget, and order tracking among several people. If you belong to several organizations, a selector lets you choose at any time which one the current action, order, or billing applies to.

The organization's 4 roles

Each member has a role that determines what they can do:

Owner: this is the person who created the organization, a role that isn't assigned through invitation. They manage the team (inviting, changing roles, removing a member) and have free access to the overall credit.

Administrator: the same team-management rights as the Owner (invitations, roles, removals, simplified budget mode), but without the ability to remove the Owner or another Administrator.

Accountant: access to the organization with no member-management rights, more focused on tracking billing.

Member: more limited access, with orders generally drawing on a budget allocated to a specific project rather than the overall credit.

In short, Owners and Administrators steer the team, the Accountant keeps an eye on billing, and the Member moves forward with the budget entrusted to them. Everyone climbs through the jungle with confidence, each with the right level of access.

The full procedure for inviting a collaborator to your organization and assigning them the right role, step by step.

Working as a team on SEO Jungle starts with an invitation. There are still a few conditions to meet before sending yours, then it's on to the procedure.

Before inviting

Two prerequisites. First, you need an actual shared organization, not just your personal space: if that's not set up yet, SEO Jungle first offers to create one for you. Second, the option only appears if you're an Owner, Administrator, or Accountant of the organization; a plain Member doesn't have access to user management.

Sending an invitation

Go to your Account Settings, in the "Users" section of your organization (or use the "Invite a user" shortcut in the left-hand menu).

Enter the email of the person you want to invite.

Choose the role to assign them: Member, Accountant, or Administrator (the Owner role remains reserved for the organization's creator; it can't be assigned).

Confirm the invitation.

If the email already matches someone in your organization, a message warns you before sending. An email is then sent to the invited person: if they already have an SEO Jungle account, they join the organization in one click with the chosen role, then are redirected to the site management area; otherwise, the email invites them to create an account. Bonus: inviting a collaborator earns you XP, both for you and for your organization.

Tracking and managing members

Until it's accepted, an invitation shows as "Invitation pending" in the user list, with no way to cancel it. For members already present, each row shows avatar, email, and role. As for removal: an Owner can remove any member (except themselves), while an Administrator can remove Members and Accountants but not the Owner or another Administrator. Removal always requires confirmation.

To understand exactly what each role allows, head to Your organization and its roles.
