A VAT number field in your legal details

In your settings, the legal and billing details section includes a field dedicated to your VAT number, alongside your company name, address, and SIRET number. This field exists both for your buying organization and in the payout profile if you sell placements as a publisher. Keeping it up to date allows your invoices, available from where to find your invoices, to correctly reflect your tax identity, and helps the people you deal with (support, accounting) quickly identify whether your organization is liable for VAT or not.

No detailed calculation rule here

How VAT applies (or doesn't) to an order depends on criteria specific to each country and status (individual, sole trader, company), and SEO Jungle operates in several markets. To avoid giving you incorrect information about your specific case, this article deliberately doesn't detail a calculation rule or rate: it's better to stay factual than to point you toward something wrong.

Settings > Billing: "Your invoices"

This page lists every invoice issued: request date, amount excluding tax, label, and status (Paid / Unpaid), along with a button to download the PDF. An invoice is generated for every payment settled by bank transfer, for example a credit top-up (see payment methods) or the settlement of an order under monthly invoicing. Right after a successful top-up, a "View invoice" button takes you straight there. This same page also brings together your billing legal details (address, SIRET, VAT, legal representative), which you can correct if needed.

Settings > Transaction history

This page tracks every financial movement for the organization: deposits, budget transfers, order payments, refunds, as well as cashback operations. Each line shows the date, the amount (in green if credited, in red if debited), the type of movement, the beneficiary, and a description. This same history is also accessible in one click from the wallet menu.

Monthly invoicing

Some accounts operate on monthly invoicing rather than pay-per-order: the month's orders are consolidated, settled by bank transfer in a single payment, and an invoice along with a spending summary is emailed to the account owner.

If an invoice is missing

First check the relevant order in the transaction history before contacting the support team via the contact page.

The confirmed case: order declined or expired on the publisher's side

When you place an order, payment happens before it's sent to the publisher. If the publisher declines your order, or lets the response deadline pass without acting (see handling a received order), the order expires and you're automatically credited back the corresponding amount: the sum returns to your credit balance, reusable for your future purchases via the "Use my credits" checkbox (see payment methods). This is therefore not a transfer back to your bank account, but rather an available credit on the platform, which you'll also find in the corresponding tab of "My orders".

The impact on cashback

If cashback had already been granted on this order, it's canceled at the time of the credit-back: the corresponding cashback credit disappears from your balance.

Finding the trace of the credit-back

The movement appears in your transaction history, along with the date, the credited amount, and the relevant order.

For any other situation

For other situations (a link removed after publication, a dispute over article quality, etc.), there is no self-service refund process documented here: the simplest approach is to contact the support team via the contact page, clearly explaining your situation along with your order reference. The team can review your case based on the information provided and let you know the next steps.

Your credits first

If your account has a credit balance — top-up credits and/or accumulated cashback — a "Use my credits" checkbox lets you apply it first to your order. The covered amount is deducted automatically, leaving only any remaining balance to be settled another way. If your credits cover the full amount, no further step is needed: your order is paid.

Credit card or PayPal for the rest

For the remaining amount (or the full amount if you don't use credits), two options are available for every order:

1. Credit card, via a secure payment form (displayed as "secure payment by PayPal," even if you don't have a PayPal account).
2. Payment via your PayPal account, using the standard PayPal buttons.

Once payment is confirmed, a confirmation page summarizes your order and offers a link to your invoice from your organization's billing area.

Bank transfer tops up your credit, it doesn't pay for an order

Unlike card or PayPal payments, bank transfer never directly settles an order: it's only used to top up your credit balance beforehand, a bit like filling your water bottle before heading out on an expedition. When you choose to credit your account by bank transfer, a page shows you SEO Jungle's bank details (IBAN, BIC, account holder name) for you to use yourself; an invoice is generated for this top-up. Once the credit is added, you can use it to pay for your future orders just like any other available credit.

Monthly invoicing

If your organization operates on monthly invoicing, the use of available credit is applied automatically to every order, without you needing to check anything.

Your legal details in settings

In your settings, a "Company information" / "Address and billing" section lets you enter your organization's company name, full address, SIRET number, and VAT number. A "Legal representative" block then asks for the identity of the person in charge (first name, last name, address, country, nationality, date and place of birth). This information appears on your invoices, which you can view from the billing section of your settings.

The payout profile: essential to get paid as a publisher

If you sell placements, this same information is collected again in a dedicated flow: the payout profile, accessible from your earnings page via the "Complete my profile" button. It has 4 steps:

1. Company information.
2. Payment account: IBAN/BIC (or equivalent depending on your country), or a PayPal account, with the account holder's name and address.
3. Supporting documents: a recent company registration certificate (Kbis, less than 3 months old) or Sirene notice/RNE extract, the company's articles of association, and the shareholder's ID.
4. Legal representative.

Until this profile is complete

A banner on your earnings page will let you know, and you won't be able to request payment for your completed orders: this payment account is where your earnings are sent once the request is approved.

In short, this information legally identifies your organization for invoicing purposes and, if you sell backlinks, determines your ability to get paid.

An automatic credit, no action needed

Cashback is applied automatically to eligible orders: as soon as an order is confirmed and paid, the corresponding credit is added to your balance, with no action needed on your part. The cashback rate is set by the platform and applies the same way to all buyers: it doesn't depend on your level or purchase history. Some offers or one-off campaigns may nonetheless offer a boosted cashback rate, indicated directly on the offer's listing.

Stackable and reusable credits

Cashback credits add up as you place orders and don't disappear overnight. You can use them to fund all or part of your future purchases, via the "Use my credits" checkbox described in our article on payment methods. Your available credit balance is visible from your billing area.

Cashback and refunds

Cashback doesn't apply to every type of transaction: service fees, certain add-on services, or canceled orders don't generate a credit. If a refund occurs after cashback has already been granted, that credit is canceled.
