The wishlist lets you set aside backlinks you're interested in without ordering them right away. It's accessible from your cart page, via the "Wishlist" tab, next to the "Cart" tab.

Moving an item

Use the heart-shaped button on each line of the cart or the wishlist: it moves the item from one to the other. An item in your wishlist isn't committed and will never be charged as long as you haven't moved it back into the cart to order it.

Clearing or sharing your list

From the "Wishlist" tab, click "Clear your wishlist" to remove everything at once.

Click "Share your wishlist" to generate a link, automatically copied to your clipboard, that makes your list temporarily public.

Anyone who opens that link sees the items you've selected (the page shows "[Your first name]'s wishlist") and can add them to their own cart to order under their own account.

Click "Make wishlist private" at any time: the shared link then stops working for others.

If your list is empty

The page simply shows "Your wishlist is empty" — that's the normal state as long as you haven't added any items.

In short, the wishlist is used to shortlist offers with no commitment, and possibly to share that selection with a colleague or client. Once you're ready to buy, find these items again in your cart.

Filters, metrics and smart sorting: learn how to navigate the catalog to choose a site that's genuinely right for your project.

The post How do you find the right site for your link? appeared first on SEO Jungle.

The catalog is the screen where you search for sites to buy a backlink from. With a large catalog of available sites, filtering your search well makes all the difference in finding the most relevant site.

Starting your search

You can search by keyword, targeting the site's URL, its description, or both at once. Then refine with many filters: topics, target countries, languages, site type, SEO metrics (see our article on a site's metrics), price range, offer type (written article or insertion into an existing article), link type (dofollow), who writes the content, domain age, presence on Google News, or excluding sensitive niches (health, finance, casino, crypto…). For topics, countries, languages and site types, you can both include and exclude values within the same search.

Reading and sorting the results

Results appear in a table, sortable by clicking a column (sorted by default on descending organic traffic).

Compare the value-for-price ratio, TF, CF, number of referring domains, traffic and domain age.

A summary above the table shows the number of matching sites, along with the average TF, CF and Power Score.

Click a result to open its detailed profile and add an offer to your cart without leaving the page.

No need to start from scratch every time

Only active, public sites appear in the catalog, and a site already purchased on your current project is automatically removed from the results to avoid duplicates. Once your filters are well set, save your search to your favorites to rerun it later without reconfiguring everything, and get alerted as soon as new matching sites arrive.

Taking action

Once you've spotted a site, add the offer to your cart then follow the guide to place your first order.

The post Tracking the progress of your orders appeared first on SEO Jungle.

Every backlink order goes through a series of statuses that you can follow in real time from "My purchases." Here's how to read this progression without losing track along the way.

Where to view your orders

From "My purchases," your orders are grouped into three tabs: those awaiting your input, those in progress, and those completed, with a progress bar showing how far each one has come.

An order's journey

Brief to fill in: your order is paid for but stays on your side, as long as the brief hasn't been sent (see placing your first order).

Sent / in negotiation: the order is with the publisher, possibly with a price negotiation underway.

Accepted, then writing in progress: depending on the offer type, the publisher writes the content or waits for your own article (see who writes what).

Validation: an article proposed by the publisher may require your approval, going back to writing if you request a change.

Awaiting publication, then awaiting the 30-day activity period once the link goes live.

Completed, once this monitoring period passes without incident.

Rejection, expiration and cancellation

If the publisher rejects your proposal, the order moves to "offer rejected." If they don't respond within the allotted time, it automatically moves to "offer expired" — you can then follow up or abandon it. As long as an order hasn't been accepted yet, you can also cancel it yourself.

Archiving

Completed, rejected or canceled orders can be archived from your account to keep a clear view of your active orders.

Deadline set by the brief, expiration with automatic refund, possible follow-up: what happens if the publisher doesn't respond.

The post Publisher not responding? Follow-ups and expiration appeared first on SEO Jungle.

A publisher taking too long to respond does happen. Here's how SEO Jungle handles this situation, for both advertisers and publishers, without you losing your budget over it.

A deadline set by the brief

The deadline for a publisher to respond to a pending order isn't the same for every offer: it's set order by order, in days, based on the request's brief. This deadline applies as long as the order is waiting for a response from the publisher or is in price negotiation.

If the deadline is exceeded: expiration

If the publisher doesn't respond within this deadline — neither accepting nor rejecting — the order automatically moves to "offer expired." You're then automatically refunded the corresponding amount, with no action needed on your part.

Following up instead of letting it expire

If a publisher risks missing their deadline, they can follow up on the offer themselves to ask you for extra time rather than letting it expire.

Once an order has expired, you can follow up to try again with the same publisher, or abandon it for good.

The publisher can also, on their end, offer a follow-up on an offer they let expire.

After the follow-up

A revived order goes back to its normal path: acceptance, writing the article, then link publication. If you'd rather not wait, or if you abandon it for good, nothing stops you from turning to another site in the catalog for your next order — the jungle always offers another trail to explore.

The post Writing the article: who writes what? appeared first on SEO Jungle.

Once your order has been accepted by the publisher, what happens next depends on the type of offer you chose. Two quite distinct workflows exist on SEO Jungle.

Standard offer: the publisher writes

In this case, the publisher writes the article based on the brief you provided (topic, keywords, anchor text, destination URL, instructions). Once the article is finished, they submit their proposal to you (article URL or attached file). You can then:

Approve the proposed content, which opens the way to publication.

Reject it, explaining your request, which sends the publisher back to writing for a new version.

This back-and-forth can repeat several times until approval.

PUBLI offer: you write it

On a PUBLI offer, it's the other way around: you provide your own article directly (text, file or URL) to the publisher, along with a comment if needed. It's then the publisher who approves or rejects your content; if rejected, they explain their requested changes and you submit a new version.

Preparing a good brief

Whether the publisher or you are writing, a clear brief makes all the difference: topic, keywords, destination URL, anchor text, approximate length and editorial instructions. You fill it in when placing your order, and it remains viewable at any time from the order tracking, which lets you refer back to it if there's a disagreement over the delivered content.

After approval

Once the article is approved, the publisher actually publishes it on their site and adds the link to the order, which then enters monitoring. You can follow this step from your order tracking.

Found a site that works for you and ready to place your first order on SEO Jungle? Here's exactly how it goes, from the cart to sending your order to the publisher.

Add to cart and link a project

From the listing of your chosen offer, add the backlink to your cart, specifying the options (writing, link type, word count…). In the cart, link each item to a project: this is required, otherwise the "Place order" button stays disabled. You can also apply a promo code at this stage.

Pay for your order

Click "Place order" and choose which billing account to use.

Choose your payment method: your available credits first, with any remaining balance paid by credit card or PayPal. Applicable VAT is shown before you confirm.

Confirm payment: the order is created and the amount is charged for each backlink in the cart.

At this stage, the publisher hasn't seen anything yet: the order stays entirely on your side, in draft form.

Complete the brief and send the order

Your order appears in "Briefs to fill in." Fill in the writing brief in detail: topic, keywords, destination URL, anchor text, length, any special instructions. Once the brief is complete, click "Send order": this is the step that actually notifies the publisher and starts the exchange with them. Before getting to that point, you can also negotiate the price if the listed rate doesn't quite work for you.

What happens next?

The order follows its usual path: acceptance or rejection by the publisher, writing the article, then link publication. You can follow each step from your order tracking.

The cart brings together the backlink offers you add from publisher listings before placing an order. Here's how it works, to avoid any unpleasant surprises when you check out.

Adding an offer and its options

When you add an offer (sponsored article or insertion into an existing article) to your cart, you choose directly on the listing the options that determine the final price: who writes the content, the link type (dofollow/nofollow), the "sponsored" label, the word count, any sensitive niche, and for insertions, the insertion type. Once the offer has been added, these settings can no longer be changed directly in the cart: to change a setting, you need to remove the offer and add it again from the publisher's listing with the new parameters.

Linking a project (required)

Each line in the cart shows the publisher involved, the price excluding tax, and a menu to link it to a project.

As long as an offer has no project attached, the "Place order" button stays disabled.

Once all offers are linked to a project, you can move on to payment.

Promo code, heart icon and removal

A promo code can be applied from the cart summary: it adjusts the displayed total, or triggers an error message if the code is invalid, already used, exhausted, or if the cart amount doesn't meet the set thresholds. You can remove an offer at any time, empty the whole cart with one click, or click the heart icon to move it to your wishlist if you want to reconsider it later.

Once your offers are ready and linked to a project, head to our guide on placing your first order.

The post Negotiating the price of a backlink appeared first on SEO Jungle.

Before confirming an order, you can propose a different price than the rate listed on a publisher's offer. Here's how this negotiation works, which covers price alone.

Making a proposal

From the offer's page, submit your price proposal, along with a short message if needed explaining your request (planned order volume, available budget…). The publisher receives a notification and has three options in response to your proposal.

The publisher's possible responses

Accept your proposal as is: the order then continues at the negotiated price.

Reject it, if the proposed price is too far from what they're willing to accept — this ends this negotiation attempt.

Make a counter-offer, proposing an intermediate price: the ball is back in your court, and you can in turn accept, reject, or submit a new counter-proposal.

This exchange can involve several back-and-forths before reaching an agreement, or a standstill if the two parties can't come to terms.

No commitment before agreement

As long as neither party has accepted, the order isn't confirmed and no payment is charged. Negotiation isn't mandatory, either: if the listed rate works for you, you can order directly at the catalog price without going through this step.

Once the price is accepted

The order then follows the usual path described in our guide on placing your first order: brief, content writing or validation, then link publication.

The post What to do if a link is rejected or removed? appeared first on SEO Jungle.

A link order doesn't always go exactly as planned. Here's exactly what we know about cases of rejection and link disappearance, and when to go through support for situations outside the usual framework.

A rejected order

If the publisher rejects your proposal (initial offer or submitted article), the order moves to "offer rejected" status in your order tracking. This rejection ends the order: nothing gets published, and you can adjust your brief for a future order, or choose another site from the catalog.

The 30-day monitoring period after publication

Once the article is published and the link added by the publisher, the order moves to active status: an automatic daily check verifies that the link stays live, for a period of 30 days. If the link stays active the whole time, the order is marked as completed.

If the publisher doesn't respond in time

If the publisher doesn't respond within the allotted time before accepting, the order automatically moves to "offer expired" and you're automatically refunded the corresponding amount. Our article on follow-up and expiration details this situation.

For any other situation

For a specific case that doesn't match these situations — for example, a link that seems to have disappeared during the monitoring period — the safest approach is to check your order's status, then contact the support team via live chat: they can examine your order in detail and tell you what to do next, rather than guessing at what might have happened.

Opening a list shows you the details of each site (referring domains, organic traffic, domain age, price), with the option to export to Excel, remove sites, delete the list, change its visibility, or share it via link or email.

Favorite searches

From the site search page, a button lets you save the current search (topics, target country, traffic, budget…) under a name. You can then view its criteria, rerun it with one click, or turn on an email alert that notifies you as soon as new sites matching those criteria become available. You can delete a favorite search at any time.

In short

Favorite sites help you organize and share the sites you're considering buying; favorite searches save you from constantly reconfiguring the same filters and keep you informed of new arrivals on the market — a watch that runs on its own, like a good lookout perched in the canopy.
